11 August 2007  Olga made another video of her juggling. She named it "Look for me in the sky, I'll be flying by!". Olga: "This is the last video before we all leave Russia to head back to the US! I hurt my finger pretty badly today, so I didn't have as much footage as I would've liked. I apologize in advance for putting some filler-crap in the video. We're leaving Penza tomorrow, then staying in Moscow for a day, coming back to the US on Tuesday!"


7-11 August 2007  On August 7 Vova and Olga decided to try passing. You can see their very first attempt with 10 clubs. Then they moved straight to 12 clubs. Vova and Olga practiced passing for only 15 minutes a day and only 12 club passing. In this video you can see their best attempts for 4 days they practiced passing. On the 5th day (August 11) Olga broke her nail. You can see this moment in this clip.

We were waiting for a trolley-bus and hided from the sun behind the bus stop. Olga just noticed some homeless kitten.

25 July 2007  Today Olga decided to go to the circus club and do some juggling. Of course I taped her practicing that day. And I was surprised - she was pretty good for two years without practice.

21 July 2007  Natasha, Vova and Olga's former dance teacher, and her mom visited us that day. Natasha didn't see Olga more than 4 years. We had a nice conversation together.

20 July 2007  Vova and the Kikyo brothers passed 15 clubs for 125 catches - beating the old World Record of 118. Vova also won two person team passing with Peter Kaseman (12 clubs for 54 passes, tying their previous record). And Vova won individual numbers club category with 7 clubs (83 catches).

19 July 2007  Vova got third in Seniors.


15 July 2007  Vova left Hartford, CT for Winston-Salem, North Carolina to participate in the IJA festival.


14 July 2007  Vova got second in Overall Championship.

5 July 2007  Olga's grandmother and two cousins came to our place from Astrakhan (680 mi from Penza). We had a dinner together at Olga's other grandma's home.

23 June 2007  Olga came to Russia right after she graduated from High School in America and she had a chance to visit the graduation ceremonies in her former two schools in Russia... Olga didn't see her classmates more than 4 years.

17 June 2007  Vova made the video of Olga's graduation ceremony.

Barry Bakalor: "Graduation was very nice. 525 graduates. The program had marks for 3 honors. Olga was one of 16 graduates who got all 3. When the principal was bragging about all of the amazing people in the graduating class, he ended with, "and a world champion juggler."... At the end, it took a long time to find Olga on the field, because of the crowd. We finally did. She was in tears. She could not stop crying. She didn't want to leave the school. It was very touching..."
