Tired and Excited Olga

I'm writing this mainly to keep myself up. I'm very tired and I have to stay up for picture taking. I slept in Vova's cave for half an hour or so, until he smoked me out of there. I stayed up until 2 cleaning my room last night. We stopped practicing a little after midnight and my room was messy, so I decided I would unpack my stuff and do laudry. Very smart. So I'm extremely exhausted and I can't stop yawning, but I'm also super excited for New York! Mark, Barry and Sue are coming with us! It's gonna be awesome, especially if it's nice and still on Wednesday morning. Mark has this Nintendo DS thing, it's awesome! We play Brain Age on it. I think Vova and I want to get those for the trip. Afterall, we do have like a 6 hour flight to New York.

Why am I always hungry when I write here? I don't know, I'm always hungry. So I'm going to EAT!!

Berkeley, Today Show(!!), practice

As you might know I went to UC Berkeley to take classes for 4 weeks. The program started July 2nd and was supposed to end July 28th. Of course, with my luck, the Time magazine article came out on July 17th, which triggered Today Show to contact us. I had to leave. I was really sad. It's not like I'm not excited for Today Show, it just happened so fast.

I didn't even have time to talk to my professors. The day after Today Show contacted us, I had to pack my bags and leave. My girls from my floor got up early that morning and we all went out to breakfast. It was soooo sad. My roommate was crying. I went to my morning class and took off. I got home in time for dinner. I was very happy to see Lagushka, it was looking good sitting in the water. I even gave him an extra cricket for a treat, he was happy. After eating dorm food for 3 weeks, dinner tasted super good. Sleeping in my bed was amazing, I felt like I was on a cloud or something. It's the small things...

So the evening I got back, Vova and I had to practice. It went pretty well for not practicing for 2 and a half years. We came up with a routine that we're going to do on Wednesday. The next day, 21st, we went to the Promenade to practice in front of people. It went really well!! It was so much fun too. Mark was very proud of us. There wasn't much wind there though. The Today Show is going to be outside, so we're trying to practice with the wind and everything. I think we're going to try to go down to the beach to practice (I'm really going there to swim, but they don't need to know that. They can't pull me out of the water).

So that's that. Oooo!! I forgot, we're all getting haircuts today!! WOO!! Mark, Vova and I are going to have a blast! Ok, it's 10:20 and I still haven't had breakfast, I'm dying. Bye!

5 Club Backcrosses High!

I practiced today! Only for an hour and half though. I did a lot better than I thought I would. I got 20 5 club backcrosses! That was exciting. 6 clubs wasn't so great. I hope it's better next time.

Capture the Flag!

We played capture the flag last night! It was awesome. My legs are sore from sprinting.
We played in front of the UC Berkeley library. At one point I was playing defense and I was running after somebody, I tagged them, but I couldn't stop myself quickly enough so I ran into a tree branch. It totally pierced my arm. It still looks horrible. It was so much fun still!

Off to class I go!

New Website, Time

We have a new website! How exciting! Thanks to Chad, Barrisimo, and most importantly Marky Mark. Also the Time magazine article is coming out tomorrow, I can't wait!

Mark and I had a couple of arguments about the pictures he was putting on there. There are some pretty embarrassing ones. It's much better than the old website still. You can't beat videos of me hula hooping and singing. So I think it came out pretty fabulous.

So, the Time magazine!! Everybody should buy a copy because I'm in it! That's all.

Back to homework...

Small Frog, Big Adventure

Barry is taking care of Lagushka for me. He is getting out of line without me.

From Barry's email:
"I made a horrible mistake with Lagushka. I got him fresh crickets and
fed him yesterday before noon. I woke up at 4 am this morning and went
to my office, and as I passed your room, I went in to look at him. I saw
that I had left the lid of his cage open, and I panicked. Sure enough,
he was gone. I felt horrible. I started searching the room, but couldn't
find him. Aaarrgggh! My hands were dirty from crawling around looking
for him, so I went in your bathroom to wash my hands, and there in your
soap dish, sitting on your bar of soap, was a very smug looking Lagushka.
I have no idea how he got there, but he is now back in his cage, and I
hope I have learned my lesson."

Can a frog get any cuter? I submit that it cannot!
